I have shared the picture before, but to save you looking back, this is HAED Mini Bouquet, code in my records is BQT. Artist is Tatiana Fedhova. 25 count Zweigart Easy Grid Lugana; 1 over 1 full cross. Width 221 Height 326. 90 colours of DMC. Total stitch count for the project is 71,601 ( nothing really for a HAED). 6 full pages and 6 partial pages. It is unbelievably beautiful, and the pattern was bought for me on Mothering Sunday 2021. As usual, Iwill be using Patter Keeper app.

Seriously, I seem to be having propulsion issues, cumulative stitches this time last year were 15,799 and I’m just over the 10k mark today. I seem to mistakenly been under the impression that not working would equal more stitching!
Instead there are lots of other things that need my attention, like making presents, cleaning and cooking ... not good, not good at all.
Still, Mission 19 on the Stitching Across the Galaxy challenge is complete, and the next three are small’ish stitch counts.

I stayed up late to get it done, and got so carried away that I forgot to keep an eye on the stitch count, so an additional 94 stitches were done on the challenge (page updated). Just one full and a partial page on the pattern row to do, and so close to 50%😀

Although I have to also admit to a no stitch day, and some low numbers as we are really, really busy with stuffs.
I’d like to carry on with this WIP for the whole challenge, but I did go ahead and download Mini Bouquet by Tatiana Fedora on to my tablet, so it is tempting to go ahead and cut out the fabric, and have a new start for at least one of the missions ... I will have to sleep on it.

Now, I am no seamstress, but at least I managed to trim up the hole, add a bit of batting and poorly stitch brown felt over that, but my stitches were not all that. I know it might be a surprise that I spend hours sitting tiny cross stitches and quilting!
The jacket is one of those padded Lumberjack ones made of wool or synthetic mix as it was apparently smouldering, and he likes it so I also cut out a gardening’ish icon on the Cricut of iron on vinyl, but that took a couple of goes as I put the blooming stuff up the wrong way first time around ... fortunately before it went anywhere near my Heat Press and then the Heat Press got its electronic knickers in a knot as we had been sublimating before Xmas which needs a high temperature, and it look forever to re-set it before I could actually transfer the vinyl. Still, got there in the end and managed to seam bind the pocket. I’ve pinned on the cuff, and will tackle that first thing in the morning.
I am now wondering if I should coat the vinyl in the dries clear waterproof paint stuff, bu I honestly am not sure where it might be, so I’m going to shuffle off for a hunt.

Completed Mission 3 (Earth) and updated the Challenge page just now.
I just need to hang up some laundry, and then I’ll be suiting up in my spacesuit and heading off to the launch pad ... I’m off to the Moon on Mission 4.
I seem to have switched to vertical stitching at the moment, mainly because the patter lends to that, but I do want to get back on track to row horizontal row completion if possible. It must be all the time in space, I’m not sure which way is up LOL!

To keep things tidy I’ve added a new page for the HAED Stitchtalk Challenge - 2022 Stitching Across the Galaxy - on the top bar, which will be a chronological record of my progress through the challenge.
I will add an entry on the main Home page when I add anything on there.
That was decent progress today, and I’m finishing 2021 at a total of 158,482 in 2021.
