#156 ~ Whoop whoop

It’s a page finish stitchy friends ... page 4 is done and dusted in time for a new decade.

I am totally in love with Colin, I especially love his little wing (or paw as I keep calling it to annoy my hubby).

I’m tempted to go for a new start tomorrow, but am driven with enthusiasm for this wonderful stitch to forge ahead.  I have to complete another University module between now and May, and I know my stitching time will be limited because of that, and as I am on leave for a further few days, on balance I think I’ll keep my new start until the end of the module by way of celebration.

Where ever you are and what ever you will be doing I sincerely wish you and yours a very happy, prosperous, healthy and productive 2020.

#155 ~ wheel of time

My stitching time stats ... which are missing some times nd items as I only started using it a few months ago.

Ignore the ‘work’ slice of he pie, I forgot my phone one day and logged it on Now and Then as I had my iPad with me.   I should fix that.

Wishing you all a a happy New Years Eve tomorrow.

#154 ~ Fa-la-la-Llamas

...that’s Christmas done, but not this project.

Especially as I had to purchase more of one colour.  I was fairly frugal with the amount in the kit too. Oh well, it was a DMC that I didn’t have, so that is another one towards the full set.

Next up is Colin:

I He’s adorable, and moving on nicely with over 54% done.

I am so badly behind with my stats, which I’d love to get updated before New Years Eve.  I also need thinking time to find a more user friendly method of keeping up to date with.  So, I’m off to work on Colin and cogitate that very problem.

I hope that you’ve had a lovely Holiday (not just Christmas), and will see you peeps later.

#153 ~ Two quick shares ...

Firstly, my progress on the Mill Hill Fa la la llamas kit

... secondly, Colin is at 54.60%

With the Christmas break two sleeps away, I’m seriously hoping to get to 63% on him, plus a sprinkle of attention here and there on some of the others.

I’m working tomorrow, but the rest of the fam are off, and I’m getting excited about finishing work and spending time with them.

If I don’t get time to update the blog.  Have a lovely Christmas, and if for what ever reason it’s not your jam may your god or sacred space go with you in peace, harmony, happiness and love.

#152 ~ busy ticking off jobs

That’s one job off the list ... i made the floral arrangement for the Christmas lunch table. Although, there is not much greenery for flower arranging in this new garden. I will have to rectify that next year and add lots of cuttables into our planting plan. Also, I could only find 1 candle ... my accessory box has gone astray.

I’ve managed about 140 stitches today, but will try for a sneaky few more before the end of the day.

#151 ~ like buses

you’ve got two projects tootling along together.

Colin and Fa-la-la-llamas.

The Mill Hill kit is stitching up so quickly, and it’s a nice little treat at the end of my stitching evening.

I have a table full of presents to wrap now, so see you in a few days.

#150 ~ Fa-la-la-llamas and friend

74 stitches done today on the llamas, and a wee bit of progress on Colin ... I’m currently 52.35% completed.

I have to admit that stitching in hand on paper is not the most fun thing; I’m finding it awkward.

I’ve had a busy day, as I headed off for lunch with my sister and then some last minute Christmas shopping.  I can hear my snuggly bed calling.

#149 ~ Even longer day

And filthy weather to deal with.

I whimped out from using the Humber Bridge, but the smaller one was horrific.  I swear I saw Moby Dick in the spray coming off the other side of the motorway.  It was like being in a hurricane at sea rather than a road trip.

We’re back in Sheffield now and setting down to watch Kirsty’s Xmas.

#148 ~ Longgggggg day

Finally arrived at the Serviced Apartment in Sheffield, after a lovely meal we’re settling in for the night and thinking of my DH who’s keeping the home fires burning.

Here’s where I got up on Colin....

#144 ~ so close

So ... so ... very close to 50% done!

Unfortunately I have work tomorrow so a late night is really out of the question.

Still, on the bright side I will definitely reach 50% before Christmas LOL.

News on my sewing room is that the Darling DIYer has put up the new lights and started on the skirting board.

#143 ~ Halo it’s sacred Sunday again

I'm loving the Diamant, and have used 2 stands of the gold, and 1 for the silver plus 1 stand of DMC  01 Tin.

I only managed about 45 stitches, but it that'll do.

What won't do is the email blogging, sometimes they eventually arrive, but mostly phoff into the cyber universe, never to be seen again.  I might have to start blogging from my ipad I think, as I use it mostly for taking photos of my stitching.

I am updating this post on Monday, 2nd December, and it is after we've done a large amount of Xmas shopping, but more importantly we also came home with skirting boards for the sewing room. As our house is period, it is very difficult to find a matching skirting, and so we've been to several places looking for the right one.  Eventually, I pressured him into accepting a different profile on the grounds that we are replacing the whole room's worth, and nobody (except him apparently) looks at if profiles match through a building.  At the moment the poppet is putting another coat of emulsion on the ceiling and will then be doing more filling.  It's coming on, but won't be ready for Xmas.
