#239 ~ HAED Mini Spring ~ 67.46% completed

Well, a day or two late, but I cracked a 1,000 today ... mostly because I got carried away colour completing over on the right after I completed row 210.

I have. Day off tomorrow, and apart from a couple of family things I will get most of the day to stitch, you never know may be another 1,000 will get stitched.  Today Stitch Pal has knocked my finish date down to 19th November finish, and it would be super to knock off a day or two from that date - I am slowly chipping away at it, especially as I am anxious to get another 5% done on Alpaca.

Stay in the light and high vibes up peeps.

#238 ~ HAED Mini Spring ~ 66.21% completed

Not quite a 1,000 stitches on Saturday because I spent a long time in the garden ... in the end I did 715 and 555 today because I spent even more time in the garden today.

If I get up early in the morning I could get close to a row finish.  You see, I have switched my stitching method to 10x10 block completion across a full pattern row.  I cross country over each block, and use up floss in the row below ... like Shazstitchcook and Nikki Crafts [both UK Flosstubers].  It really is only possible thanks to Pattern Keeper app.

Happy stitching and stay in the light peeps.

#237 ~ HAED Mini Spring ~ 64.82% completed

It’s been a while, and I’m sorry that I have not been on to update progress, but decided that stitching was better than social media’ing if I want to get this lovely girl finished.

There have been two roll ups on the frame since I last updated, and a heap of progress... can you see the bunny’s ear developing?

This morning I was up nice and early to get a load of bun dough on the go (by popular demand of oldest kid and his lovely girlfriend, and me to be honest as they are delicious).  Also, 148 stitches of confetti done and out of the way with a nice bit of block colour stitching for a big portion of the day.  I would love it if I could get to 1,000 stitches today as it would seriously make a dent in my target end date.

According to Stitch Pal app we are looking at 22nd November finish.  This would be lovely as I have resigned from my job now and leave at the end of November, so I can then start to work on Aquarius and a retirement start for 12 Dancing Princesses.

I’ve said most of my progress photos and have been setting them aside to do a time lapse video of this project.  Plus, I have been looking into clogging camera to be able to do stitch with me videos on YT.  There is a new Monstrik stand on order to assist and possibly lights and general kit to get the right angels, etc.  I have the issue that I need a magnifying pal to see 25 count, and it gets in the way of filming, so I might have to channel my external crazy scientist look with my old head magnifier to film too ... trust me peeps is not a good look, especially when you forget you have it on and open the door!

My dough bleeper is going off, so I need to go.  Hopefully I can pop back in this weekend to show you my progress, and talk about how I have changed my methodology for stitching this piece, and also why I have decided that the Monstrik stand was a good way to go, even though I have the Needle Needs one.

Happy stitching and stay on the upswing of positivity.  High vibes up is the way to go in such monstrous times.

Hugs
