#160 ~ Quick update

Study has stopped play, but I have got a bit done on Colin

I’m at 61.86% at the moment.

I evn managed 35 stitches on Lady Luda ... urghhh, it would have been more but I was working with metallics!!!!

So, ‘nuff said, they are difficult if you don’t use them all of the time.

I’ve got another heavy study week next week, so I’ll see you next weekend with another update.

#160 ~ Festive break target

After 252 stitches today (38,232) I’ve reached my own self-imposed festive stitching target of 60.04% - even if it meant playing jiggery pokery with my diagonals to do it.  I’ve also page 6 today.

Stitching will slow down a bit now, as I’m back to work tomorrow, and I seriously have to work my socks off to write my upcoming Uni paper.  In reality it might just be a hundred or less stitches a day to keep me ticking over.

On the plus side though, my Xmas present finally arrived from Needle Needs yesterday, and am now stocked up on scroll bars and another set of stretchers.

That means that Alpaca WIP can come out of hiding and I can rotate it with Colin.

... and steaming ahead on Colin.

I’ve reached a mother load of black and have done 523 stitches today - which leaves me at 58.84 and in touching distance of 60% by Sunday night.

#157 ~ This my friends will be ...

My new year start, but as an incentive only when I’ve submitted my paper to the OU for marking.

This lovely thing is a mini HAED The Magic Book by Yvonne Gilbert.  I decided to go for bright as there is a lot of brown, black and muted tones in Colin.

I’m just enjoying a leisurely breakfast all on my own, and then I’ll hop over to my frame and keep on keeping on stitching Colin, and this afternoon I will pick up my text book and hit the keyboard to get my paper underway.
