 It struggled a bit mid way down this diagonal, but I managed to wrangle it back into submission, although there may be a few creative a’humph “amendments”!

Just a few more rows and the diagonal will have bitten the dust.

A sweet little daisy has appeared at the bottom of the foxgloves, I have only just noticed that.

#189 ~ 35% completed on HAED Alpaca

 It took a bit of sweat equity to push this baby to 35% ....but here we are:

I played a game of is it a butterfly or  flower game with the blue section on the right; today I think it’s a flower.

Target complete, I’m going to switch out to Mini The Magic Book tarter a cheeky ice cream.

 I’m not going to lie there has been some shall we call it “creative pattern enhancement” but a man on a galloping horse won’t see where it is ...

Mostly I’ve been concentrating on establishing the diagonals again after I went off piste and thought I would do full 20 x 20 squares, which led the situation re creative enhancements.

I would recommend if you don’t like orange that you steer clear of this one ... fortunately, I do.

#187 ~ HAED Alpaca - 30.50% done

 

I have done a little bit more on the left hand side, and then focused my attention way up by the Llama sticker.

Remind me never to use DMC the 20 grid is doing my poor little noggin in, and no matter how much I tried the gridding in Aqua marker and sliver has been all over the place.  Never mind I shall just ignore any stitches that are wrong in his ear and plug on.  I’ve gone back to row by row diagonal over 20 holes again, just to save my sanity.

It blows my mind to think that I frogged out the Magic Book and restarted on DMC Magic Guide.  Oh well that’s life my friend.

I have been giving my working thread storage some thought, and will cover that in a longer post this weekend,
