#172 ~ Pretty in blue

I did stop stitching her for a few days, but have decided to carry on and rather than let it bother me I am going to use her as a memorial for the circa. Million children that go missing throughout the world in a year.

#170 ~ ...and so ...

The top of the bed has started to take shape on the left hand side.

22.85% done, even though the righthand side has tons of parking and looks like a veritable tars next, it is really quite well ordered with parked threads on top hanging down and waste threads horizontally that get cut out when I either reach them or they are in the way.

Happy stitching.

#169 ~ and then there was teddy ...

686 stitches today has taken me to 20.79%.

I’ve been working in blocks but am going to switch back more or less to diagonal stitching to work down to the left hand side, although there are quite a few blocks within that.

Happy stitching and stay calm in this manufactured madnesss.

#168 ~ What the difference a stitch makes

I just love it when I’m in the zone just adding stitches dictated By the chart and I step back out for a moment in to real time and notice something wonderful appearing ... in this case her beautiful green eye.

I’m sur I have said it before, but I a, going to repeat myself ... I love this design.  Miss Beckett Griffith will feature heavily in my artist stitching list going forward.

Currently this project is sitting at 15.72% complete and I only started about a month ago.

I know the whole of mankind are experiencing tough times at the moment, and I f find that staying away from mainstream media is keeping me calm, apart from work and study stitching is my form of meditation and it really does help.  It is my light in the darkest time.

Find the Light in your hearts and go without fear you lovely bunch of human beings.
