#125 ~ Another diagonal

Progress as at 22/09/2019
Crow on Crescent Hill (Take 2)
HAED
25 count 1 over 1

That's another diagonal done, and I've already got ahead on the next one, so it might be that I can finish this page by Christmas.

Apart from stitching, it's been busy at work, and I'm back at Uni., and I have a confession, it has been a very long time since I updated the stats on google drive, I need to get that updated as soon as possible, as it might concentrate my mind on the #50kxstitchchallenge.  I will set aside some time at the weekend to do this.

I'm back off to hit the books and reach the end of this current unit, then I can aim to stitch this evening.

#122 ~ Haul y’all

Gorgeous colours for the Specialist Stitches project.

I spent an hour staring at a blank piece of evenweave literally not knowing what to do, but I’ve cracked Amadeus stitch.

I’ll share it with you later in the week.

#121 ~ A chance to take part in homework this week

#magicalstitches homework this week should be achievable.

"Your Assignment:
Make your choice between a light or dark path.1. Explain your choice.2. Stitch Part A first this week.A. For your chosen path, put in 600 stitches on a project thatrepresents that choice and explain how the piece fits. - 6 pts
B. For the path you did not choose, put in 400 stitches on aproject representing that decision. Be sure to explain how thepiece fits. - 4 pts
Notes:1. Light could be a happy project, light colours, a project that simply brings you joy for one reason or another.
2. Dark could be a dark themed project, dark colours, or a project that brings you down for one reason or another.
3. One project CAN be used for both paths, so long as you provide adequate explanation.
4. Partial points will be given this week 1 point per 100 stitches but you must stitch part A first.
BONUS: Stitch 200 stitches on your most dazzling project and explain how it dazzled you. - 2 pts"

Hold on to your hats, I'm going to use Crow on Crescent Hill for the assignment as it will work for both A/B and Bonus.  Light colours for Part A, brown and black for Part B and the whole for bonus points (if I get that far).

Starting point for this is my last blog post ... catch you on the other side.

#120 ~ Another diagonal done

... and still trying to get over the loss of our lovely boy.  We miss you Rusell so very much.

I would very  much like to finish page 3 by Christmas, but feel the need to switch it out sometimes, so I've added the Russian Icon pattern scan onto Dropbox, and I will see if it'll work in Knit Companion.

Apart from that nothing much to report, other than my blinds were fitted yesterday, and I love them.  No more sun shining right on the TV screen in the afternoon.

#119 ~ HAED Workstation Wednesday

I’ve reached the edge of page three, and started a new diagonal.

It’s going pretty quickly too, with not too much confetti.

We’re a devastated household tonight as our darling dog, Russell, went over the Rainbow Bridge.  Colour me the saddest shade of sad.
