Not the only thing growing in my garden, this delight finally has the gird lines removed, and smells divinely floral after the spa treatment.

Oh yes, finally she is done.
… and just in time for Switch-out Sunday when the new rotation starts.
Focus: HAED Alpaca (AP) - three weeks
Mini WIP A - HAED Aquarius (AQR) - two weeks
Mini WIP B - HAED Magic Book (MB) - one week
I’m not sure how I will work in a new start, probably when a full size piece is done I will start a new one in the focus slot after one full rotation through the Minis, and any Mini finish will move see the B WIP move up to A position and the new start will become slot in at the B position. Hope that makes sense?
So I will switch out to the Focus later this afternoon, which makes me ridiculously happy as I have missed Alpaca, with three weeks work on it, I am hoping for a nice bit of progress.
I’m also considering a smaller WIP for the 30 minutes I wait for my porridge each day that can be either stitched in hand or go in a Qsnap and sit on my Needle Needs stand, which is not being used since the Monstrik came into my life. On say, a Button and Beads kit, I could achieve a fair bit in that time.
I’m off to take this beauty off the stretcher bars and put it send it straight to the kitchen sink for a spa day. If you need details on the piece see post #277 published on 28th January 2022.

Page 11 also done, and I’m on the homeward stretch with just the remainder of page 12 to go … there is a bit already done, as some large blocks of colour in there.

… and page 10 has just also been completed (partial page). There are two more partial pages to go for this project to become a finished object.

… I’ve done an enormous amount of the purchased/gifted thread that has been piling up, but it still seems like an un-ending marathon to get it all on Annie’s Keepers and stowed in the Master Thread storage. So, whilst it is as hot as Hades today and heavy digging would be a step too far I’m going to “get her done” as my lovely American friends would say.

The stitches bottom right of the photo is the bottom right hand corner of the piece, so I am in sight of a finish.

Lines 251 to 260 have also been completed.
I’ve had to not so much roll up the frame, but reposition it, as I am at the outer reach of my magnifying light, and it was hurting in back leaning forward. Ideally, I should have switched to my shorter stretcher bars, but they are in a “safe” place and I can’t lay my hands on them.
I think if I can complete another two line rows, i.e. up to 280 there should be room to roll up to make life easier.

I hate this bit, you spend nearly a half a year, in this case, stitching something and then dunk it in very warm water ... and then wait with breath indrawn to see if you can get out the grid lines.

Some 11,000 and change to stitch on this now. I am within a gnat’s whisker of finishing page 10.
